I have a 3 month old D820 and this just started happening.

Upon resuming, or sometimes upon waking the screen, the LCD will show a group of white/black/grey lines.

I usually have to close the laptop let it fall back asleep and then re-open it before the problem resolves itself.

Latest drivers etc so that shouldn't be the issue. No rhyme or reason...

This is my work issued laptop and it has a 3 year warranty on it. I was thinking, if Dell does such a thing, to wait until the D820 is no more and see if they replace it with a D830 ...of course I probably wouldn't get so lucky, right?

    Dear Dell Customer,

So sorry I didn't see your post from June 17, before today. I wanted to apologize for the different color line issues you are having with your D820. Please email me your Dell order number so that I may research this matter. I am happy to help anyway I can.

    Thank you,

There is a Dell customer service rep in this forum? Wow, I am impressed. I try to contribute over in Dell's own forum when I can, and very seldom does a Dell employee post anything. I have a two week old D820 that I personally own. I was just curious as to what your problem is in case my notebook developes the same issue.
