Okay, i recently got my fans, hard drive, and CPU replaced in my Inspiron E1705 laptop.
Ever since then, I have noticed that, on occasion, the laptop will freeze when I plug in the AC adapter, forcing me to do a hard reboot. Dell diagnostics did not show any failed tests.
I used the recovery partition to restore the system to factory settings, thinking that the OS install might have been bad, but it just happened to me again when moving my laptop from my living room to my bedroom.
Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Why did you replace then?
-
well, the fans didn't work, for one
Second, everything was loading extremely slow from the hard drive, and the CPU usage would often spike to 100% for no reason whatsoever.
various tests and observations revealed faulty L2 cache for the proessor, and other tests showed hard drive failure, as well. -

why didnt you buy a new laptop? just wondering. it seems like your laptop is falling apart.
-
Because i'm still under warranty?
-
-
Maybe I will since instead of answering my questions you guys are talking about something that's irrelevant. Jeez
-
Also, it's a service warranty, not a "trade the system in any time you want within 3 years for a new one" warranty

Well we are trying to find out how it started. and what could be the source.
Odd new bug
