    Just moments ago I spoke with a Dell Rep from the Dell website discussing the launch of the M1730. This morining, I recieved the "pre-invite" email that brings you to a link to buy the laptop, except there are NO config. options as of yet. You can only order to base model. The following conversation between me and the Dell Rep answers some questions::

    It's really not that big of the deal. Other than the SLI 8700Ms (which unfortunately, is still slower than the 7950GTX), there's nothing special about this laptop.

    It looks like they tried to borrow some Alienware design elements with the side fender things. To bad they failed miserably. Has anyone actually seen one up close? Is it as bad as is in pictures, or does it look better in real life. Also, which colour minimizes its ugliness?
    Well, other than than, all I have to say is mind spinning performance, stomach churning design :eek2: .
