    Ok Got Vista Express Upgrade Cd in, need help

    Can I format and install Vista fresh using the upgrade cd as long as i have the original dell windows media center 2005 cd that came with my laptop?

    Vista upgrade requires an installed operating system. The best way to do this:

    1) Back up your data.
    2) Totally wipe your hard drive.
    3) Use your upgrade disc to install Vista, but DO NOT enter the key.
    4) Install Vista over the top of the above install, and enter your key when asked.
