They don't seem to bad as the WXGA+ screens however I feel it'll still be hit and miss if you get a good screen or not.

Hmm, I got a SEC3157 (WXGA+) and it looks great, I haven't noticed any graininess yet.

    Hello guys,

I was wondering how can I find out the model/make of the LCD screen on my Vostro 1500 notebook.

Where should I look for the AUO2077, Samsung or Phillips values?

My display is 1440x900 with TrueLife and it does not look grainy, however, there is some light bleeding/discoloration at the bottom of the screen.

    Thank you.

No idea if my screen is grainy, but it seems A-OK to me, the make is a LPL or something.
    Vostro 1500.
Cant see any dramas with the screen atm :)
