No...there is nothing wrong with that drive. You will find my tests under my sig block.

Dont be swayed by the performance of the upper tier SSDS. They are the best and cost alot more at 64GB level.

I would definately say its worth it...

only if you can get one w/o defects that annoy you. I've already gotten one replacement w/ a new motherboard and the new a07 bios but still have the whiny sound. That sound is pretty damn annoying for me, but I'm not sure if you would even hear it (depending on your age) my dad for instance, can not hear the high pitched sound, but I can.

    My opinion:
Considering how many people (including me) were willing to pay (a lot of us paid more than $2000) for our m1330s way back when there weren't any discounts..
I say the m1330 isn't that expensive now. It has been through many price drops so I would say it is definitely worth the money.
It's a very nice laptop. Small and light and powerful. It's also labeled "cute" by the girls ;D or "cool" by the guys..if you're a girl XD

    Junk that freaking m1210 immediately.

I switched from the m1210 to the m1330 and I'm more than happy:
    - much faster
    - way better screen
    - way better battery life (4 hours on 6 cell, almost 8 on 9cell, with LED and x3100)
    - looks much better
    - sleep mode actually works (very faulty on my m1210, it wouldn't come back from sleep most of the time)
    - no blue screen errors

I love the m1330. Hands down the best laptop I've ever used.

Good to hear support from the group on the 1330. My m1210 heats up,
slow boot, and your right about the sleep mode.

I'll probably the whine if there is one, cuz noise bugs me, but it won't stop me from getting it.
I hope you are right that the screen is better. Compared to the old
    700m this one sucks.

No whine whatsoever in my m1330 and my friends m1330's just delivered last week. Chances are this problem was already fixed so don't let this deter you.

In the last four months I have owned a Latitude D630, an Inspiron 1420 and an XPS M1330. Without question the M1330 is the best laptop I have ever owned. The LCD is bright and clear and I love the keyboard. Best of all, I found it at the Dell outlet for $679 with 2GBs of RAM. I added the bluetooth module.

It is the perfect laptop for browsing the web and email. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak from experience but it isn't marketed as a gaming laptop.

It is the best laptop I have ever owned!
