Okay I uninstalled norton ghost, and combined the D: partition with the rest of my C: drive. Media Direct still works and all, but now it can't find any files when windows isn't booted. Another poster recommended I push F8 before MediaDirect loads, but it does nothing for me, just continues to load MediaDirect... anyone got any suggestions.

how about repeatedly pushing f8 even when MediaDirect starts to boot up?

Also, is your music and files located in the normal directories of "My Music, My Pictures" etc... or do you have them located somewhere else.

As SoutherGirl says, you need to press/tap the F8 key during the MediaDirect boot. I've heard of varying success with this, so would be interested to know if it does any good....
