So I downloaded the Omega Drivers today and performed all the instructios correctly (i.e. uninstalling the original ATI control panel).

So I went to play Desert Combat today (mod for BF1942). However when playing the game, it no longer occupies the entire screen. Previously the game fit to screen. Now, there are black bars on either side of my game. I checked my game video settings and they were set correctly to 1280 by whatever resolution that I typically play with. So what have I done to lose my widescreen gaming capability?

The Omega drivers should have a Screen Stretching option. This option is probably disabled. Just check the setting and enable it and that should fix the problem.

I ended up uninstalling the omega drivers because of this problem, it took me a while to figure out.
