I just bought a refurbished Dell Studio 1555 and noticed that only the right USB port was working. When I went into bios and disabled "outside USB ports", the left one started to work and the right one stopped working.

Can anyone explain the possible reason for this problem?

Did you install the chipset drivers?

    Just tried it, no luck

The ports were working perfectly fine a few days, so that can't be the problem right?
