When I have the volume on, sound only comes out of the left speaker on my e1705. Is this normal? I havn't changed any of the stock drivers. Do you think this can be repaired?
I still have the one year warranty but I don't have time to send this one back in and get another... I'm leaving for Europe in a month and I'm staying there for 2 months and I realy need a PC... What should I do![]()
Hmm... Now that I think of it, I could go to Europe with this PC and when I come back I can get it exchanged for a new one... I wonder if this would work...
P.S. I'm using the integrated sound card and not the Audigy one.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to my world. Oh, I forgot. I only have one speaker. LOL!
Did the other speaker work before (ie is this a Primary or secondary onset of speaker dysfunction). Sounds like a defective unit. However check your speaker settings, the balance may be set to one side. -
if u r using external speakers, make sure the speaker plug is pushed in all th way on the speaker jack of the laptop --- i know, it something u probably already checkeed but i had to mention it.
call dell before the first 21-days to prevent a hassle (if u opt to replace it) -
The speaker wire might have disconnected
Only one speaker works...
