Hey all-
From what I can tell, Dells deals are usually the same year round, they just change it to make it look different (instant off, coupons, chaning component price, etc). Do you feel that Dell usually has a good Cyber MOnday deals or not. I've just ordered a new 1520 and wonder if I should cancel and see what happens.

Yes, if you would like to save money!

There's no guarantee that there will be a better deal, and if you cancel your existing order, you'll just end up waiting longer.
I'd keep my existing order and only cancel it (or send back) in the event a better deal came up on Monday. -
When exactly is "Cyber Monday"?
-
The term Cyber Monday refers to the Monday immediately following Black Friday, the ceremonial kick-off of the holiday online shopping season in the United States between Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. Whereas Black Friday is associated with traditional brick-and-mortar stores, "Cyber Monday" symbolizes a busy day for online retailers. The theory was that consumers would return to their offices after the Black Friday weekend, making purchases online that they were not able to make in stores. This theory has not survived the test of time. However, Cyber Monday has evolved into a significant marketing event, sponsored by the National Retail Federation's Shop.org division, in which online retailers offer low prices and promotions.
While the term "Cyber Monday" was created in November 2005, the mainstream media picked up the term and reported as if "Cyber Monday" had been a long-running concept. "Cyber Monday" is often associated with the unfounded belief that it is the busiest (highest sales volume) shopping day of the year for online retailers, because people would continue shopping while at work from the company's computer.
