    Any body out there pissed off:eek: about there order!!!

    I Want this Thread to be about people who just keep getting let down when it come to dell and the their delays :realmad:

    Or even if you have been waiting for what seems a life time:cry:

    speak up ,

    i ordered an inspiron 1520,Which i think is a brilliant laptop(the jet black :D )

    Why not get a vostro if your color choice is jet black? Same thing, only significantly less expensive, plus they ship in like 5 days.

    I would have gotten a Vostro too, but, my dell preferred account only works for Home and Home Office. :(

    David K, since you posted in such large letters, may I humbly suggest you run your post, or at least the 10" neon lettering in the first line, through a spell checker and grammar, too, while you're at it?

    "Any body" should be one word: "Anybody"; the second "there" in your first sentence should be "their"; among all those "!!!!!!!" should be a "?" since you're asking a question".

    I ordered a Vostro 1700 on Aug. 20th, was given an estimated ship date of the 28th. Then it got delayed till the end of September, so I cancelled.
    So Vostro's aren't always shipping faster!! :mad:

    Jet Black is currently delayed. I spoke with Dell chat a little while ago finding out why my laptop is delayed.

    i ordered mine on 7/19th...(dell 1521 spring green)
    esd 7/28 - esd 8/28 and now esd 9/5~
    got delayed twice ... they gave me a free overnight shipping...but yeah
    this is really annoying b/c my schools starting in 2 weeks..!!!

    I ordered a 1520 on 7/24 and I had an original ESP of 8/22, which got delayed to 8/28 which was DELAYED AGAIN TODAY to 9/5.

    On the first delay I called and got $75 off and that it would be expedited. On the second delay he told me I will have next day shipping and that he would put in another request to expedite the order. If I don't get my laptop by 9/5 I expect nothing less then a brand new car.

    Jokes aside this is getting really annoying. Just like many others I've had to wait over a month now with multiple delays. If I knew how long it was going to take from the beginning there was no way in hell I would have ordered, I would have just bought another HP laptop (which btw was ordered 10 days before Christmas in 2006 and was at my door in just 5 days). Its a shame that someone like myself who has purchased many Dell computers in the past is never going to buy another Dell product if and when my laptop gets here.
