Hi. I called the status line 2 days ago (which is now not operating). I was in boxing stage. So i wanted to see if I shipped yet and I went to the online chat and the Rep said I am not boxing yet. Also he said, my processor is back ordered for 8 days. I read somewhere that sometimes boxing is confused in translation. I'm not sure if I should believe him or the automated phone status lady. What do you think?

I would believe the status line over the rep. I've noticed a lot of the reps just go by what the dell website says and feed you generic information about delays when they're not quite sure what's going on. The status line seems to be updated more regularly when the actual unit is scanned at a different station. And yup, the status line is currently not working (of course)....

I dunno, it never failed me. Also it'll say that if you enter an incorrect order number. Just make sure you enter/say the correct number. On a side note, the online order status has updated.
