    How long does it typically take from the time of order of a custom Dell notebook, to it arriving at your door, providing standard shipping? Assuming also I'm going to be getting one of the new Santa Rosa platforms as soon as they come out this month.

    Oh I dont know, just about everyone... Santa Rosa is being released this month and Dell will be providing notebooks on that platform. Do you know about my question?

    That figures, it takes forever then :(. Grrr... I will be leaving for China in the beginning of July, so I can't afford a delay like that.

    I ordered on April 24 and the est. del. date was May 30. I was pleasantly surprised when I got an email that the laptop will be delivered on May 7 :)

    My laptop took less than a week for delivery after the order date, and it was shipped to Canada (Ontario).
