    Hi everyone,

I wanted to confirm the description for the order I made over the phone to make sure its the correct one's or if the rep submitted the wrong item.

310-9240 Matte Black Casing XPS M1330
320-5583 13.3 Inch Wide Screen WXGA TL WLED Backlit LCD with Camera
    313-5361 8X DVD+/-RW Slot Load Drive for XPS 1330
320-5771 Slim and Light LCD with TuxedoBlack Casing and Camera XPS1330

All of the above are on my order confirmation but here is my question:

Is the "Matte Black Casing" the same as TuxedoBlack Cover?
Is the WXGA Wide Screen the same as LED screen that is thinner?
    Is my DVDRW dual layer?
why is there two casing descriptions on one order?

Might be just the wording of the order but just wanted some peace of mind.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks

Yes it's TuxedoBloack, yes it's LED, not 100% sure but I know all the non-slot loading drives are dual layer, and just the way it is...

    Excellent!!!

    Thanks for the quick responses.
Well I ordered my 1330 over the phone but for some reason the order status on the support site cannot find my order or customer number. Only way to confirm the order went through is by my Dell account being charged for the laptop and doing a customer data search.

The guy on the phone (unfortunately I got a guy unlike the others who got a HOT girl...haha) gave me a order number but only sent me a email quote to order. I didn't submit the quote to order thinking I might get double charged.

So the phone order stat tells me it will get delivered on Aug. 28. Another person I spoke to said it will be shipped out July 27. I don't know who to believe.

I asked someone from Dell why the long delay and she said part of the laptop are in back order and they are waiting. Soon as they get it, they will assemble and send out.

I've never had to wait this long for a computer. I've purchased Dell machines all my life and usually I have it in my hands the most a week later. I guess this laptop is either in HIGH DEMAND or their still working out the bugs of such a powerful beast in such a small package.

Oh well...guess I'll just twiddle my thumbs till it comes.
