It seems that Dell changed their website last night. Last night I saw that my system was kitting, but today the page is different and just lists "In Production", but notdetails such as building, testing, etc.
Anyone else seeing this change?

I noticed that too earlier yesterday in California. I am waiting for a replacement e1705. Mine was FUBAR out of the box. It is annoying that it takes more than a week to get a replacement, and more annoying when I can't see the details.
-
FUBAR? what is that mean?
-
Yeah, I just ordered another E1405 for my wife ... and all I can see is "In Production."
I just ordered a Lenovo Z61M for work, and it's even worse. Ship date of 12/5/2006 and nary any update on status other then "In Progress." At least I didn't have to pay for that one.
So, in the whole scheme of things, at least I know with Dell the PC will be here within a week. :-D -
1-800-433-9014, ignore the prompts and type in your order # and it will tell you not only that it is in production, but also the phase (build/testing/boxing).
Hope that helped!

I'm pre production too, I ordered Tuesday night I think haha, I'm anxious too!

Even if it's a typo and European date and it's May 12th, 2007 that's still really bad.

Wow..didn't even notice.

Wow, neither did I. I was just searching threads and I saw that one there and thought to myself "I had the same problem with the website."
At least my post helped some people here though, so it's all good!
Order status doesn't list kitting, testing, etc. Dell changed website
