I ordered a brand spankin' new xps studio 16 the other day
but i realized that i had put my name instead of another family member's
name for the billing/delivery info (needed for tax claim or something)
and so i called them to see if i could switch the names but they wouldn't allow for it.
so then i told them i wanted to cancel the order, and i believe the rep said that he had done it but when i went to go check my order status a few hours later it still said my system was in production...
im wondering....did i get lied to? or does it usually take a bit of time for the cancellation to kick in?![]()

Check in the morning, and if it doesnt show cancelled. Give Dell a holler, and ask them to send you by email a case number with confirmation, it was indeed cancelled.

just checked my status and for me it still says its in production
but i sent an email to a rep last night and got a reply this morning
and it says that HE sees it as cancelled
weeeeeeeeird
