Order status not available (Money transferred 3 days ago)

I ordered "Dell Studio-15" on 10/06/2010 the "sales person" sent/mail me the "Quotation" & "Account detail" the same day, I transferred the amount mentioned in "Quotation" on 11/06/2010 by "NEFT" Same day (11/06/2010,Friday) evening I called the "sales person" but he told me the "Payment not received" till then.They have "Saturday & Sunday off".

Please some one tell me-

1. Is NEFT takes more than 1 day time to transfer the fund/money.
(As the amount debited from my account same day )

2. I'm checking the order status (In Dell India website) by using "Quotation
no." which I got from "sales person" but it's showing ""The information that
you provided was invalid....." message.
Please tell me what may be the problem.

3. I transfer the money only in the basis of "Quotation" which "sales person"
sent to me.Is there any other thing I should get from them
(Receipt,Payment confirmation document or some thing else)

Please some1 tell me what's the "step by step" process from "Placing order" to get "Delivery of Product"

The "Order status" shows the same status after 3 days (today it's still same).

How much time it'll take to deliver after "MBC (15/06/2010)", it's more then committed period of 7 days (after order place) Will they compensate it by adding any freebies.

its dr saurabh from india. even i hv placed my order today ie- 22/6/2010 for dell studio 15" with i7-740QM by NEFT by 1:30 pm. and after that i called my sale representative n told her my UTR NO. she told me that i will be surely informed when the dell account is credited. how ever i called her after 2hrs n left a voice msg. she called me back n told that payment has been recieved. she was saying that i will recieve an email from dell mentioning the order no etc thru which i can track my order.. did u get such email n when? when is ur EDD mentioned ? n which system hv u ordered ? keep in touch.

 

oh i dint see u hv mentioned ur EDD. by the way what variants did u insert to track ur order in dell's order status ?

 

Hey My Order Status Has Been "wip" Now...

 

Today on 23 june i got it:

Dell 1558
Intel i7-720,500GB HDD,ATI reiden 5470 graphic,1080p LED (15.6" Display),Backlit KB,9 cell battery.

They didn't give anything else (except headphone like walky HP without mic).

Shame on dell they at least should provide headphone with mic. or mouse for such an expensive models.

Within how many days of reciieve of the payment did u get ur systemdid u get the bluetooth head phone that is free with Mcafee antivirus subscription or its just a earbuds? n how much ur whole config cost? n do tell the experience with ur new dell laptop.. coz its much imp that ur purchased system run good rather than getting free items with bad cheap product...

I ordered on 11/06/2010 that time Intel-i7-740QM option was not available at same price.Also i didn't know about Mcfee subscription/BT HS offer.

I think the sales person through whom you dealing is smart enough to give you better price & info. about latest offers.

 

1 more thing: which screed you selected (I've the 1st one):-

I could not get much time to work in it, It's looks too good & yesterday I used it upto 2 hrs. very smooth,not heating & no fan noise,Screen is the best part of it.I'll post review on Sunday when I'll install some games & HD movies.

 

ya plz do post ur review n let me know where do u post it.. n its not that my final sales person was the only one to inform me that offer abt bluetooth headphone with Mcafee.. actually i submitted my cart 3 times with slight modification n each time the sales person informed me abt that offer. actually i kept on asking abt the offers o any discount but ofcourse the last person was a lady n she was very much co-operative. she actually forced me for NEFT but i was in favour of cheque or bank draft as i had read ur problem of NEFT still she kpt on try n ask me to let her allow to talk my dad as my dad himself in bank (SBI).. Me n my dad discussed on this topic n she made few conferences b/w we 3.. n then v came to know abt there was some offer for ppl of specific field (employee n student of some specific fields) n we got that much discount...
ya but no doubt that lady is so helping in nature rather than last 2 guys.. she is helping me till now...

hey now my status is "Manufacturing build completed"

 

After MBC status continuously be in touch with "Blue dart" daily check your "status" using your order no. (prefix 78-******order no) for ref. no. in blue dart website) & when it shows "Contact customer care" status then call they will tell you the exact "date & time of delivery".

Dell website is ridicules. They don't update status regularly.

I check my "order status" 1 day after the delivery it shows "Manufacturing build completed" while I already received the lappy.

All the best. (actually I didn't get sufficient time to use my lappy till now so still can't tell much about it's performance)

No problem at all (...any throttling problem with i7 n 90 wt AC adapter while playing game perticularly)

You ur self keep your lappy safe till 3 yrs. If she gives you any other offer it could be best.

BTW after this (n we got that much discount...) what's your final price quotation she offered to you

 

u mean after 3 yrs warrenty...? originally my lappy cost me 59369.39/- n if i had ordered tat 3yrs warenty then it wud hv cost me 2k more ie- 61300/-

hey anushka... wot is EDD (Estimated Date of Delivery) ?
is it the day where customer receives the laptop or the local courier receives it?

 

n how many partitions do u already have in hard drive... n did u make any extra partion of ur own ? my EDD is 5th july ie tom... lets see if i get it tom o not...

 

EDD- When you recieve your lappy by Bluedart courier in your home.BTW today is 5'th july & your EDD....Con grates. HDD not partitioned by default you've to make partition after getting all backups.

 

yaar actually i hv never made any partition by myself.. did u know how to make partition or u ask anyone for help... yaar actually lappy has reached to a city near to mine but as it was national shutdown today ,i cud not receive it. i talked to local blue dart courier. he said tat i ll get it by 12 or 1 pm tom... lets hhope for the best...(finger crossed... ) hey anushka ! did u plaY ANY GAME IN UR NEW LAPPY? IF YES THEN WHICH GAMES N HOW WAS UR EXPERIENCE ???

 

even today i dint get my laptop... n do u know y? coz the bluedart asking me for 300 bulks more..i said them tat i hv alraedy paid 900/- for express delivery,they say tat their blue dart shd get any bill some prove for tat. my place is 2 hrs of dist from the district headquarter.. though there r buses in every half an hr n even road is also in gd condition b/w these 2 places stil... i agreed also to pay 300/- extra even then they said that i would get my system tom. wot the hell !!!

 

No need to pay any extra money, You can call to dell representative & clear this issue.The Quotation/Confirmation order contain details of it (delivery charges should be included in it).

 

No need to pay a single rupee to Bluedart.They'll deliver you wherever you are.

Check your order status by waybill no. or ref. no.-

After you check it you'll get customer care no start from-080xxxxxx call them & tell this issue.

oh...!!! was tat their call... o i missed as my cell was silent in hosital. but yaar i had to pay him 300 bulks as blue dart person was making delay in delivery. but i will surely raise this issue to dell n also blue dart but i hv no prove as he dint give any receipt..
anyways howz ur system till now.? i found it really gd. though i hv not play any game yet. n u know i just got my laptop with backlit keyboard paying xtra for tat n now dell is providing backlit keyboards with its every studio lappy...lol n do u know there is another feature.. u can install a sim cardin ur battery slot n can play internet...!(ya sim card shd be providing net). Any new... u discovered?

 

Anyway congrates for ur lappy.They also rise the price by approx.1000K for Backlit KB.
Sim card feature is new one i think (not available in Inspiron series)
I didn't get any new game still waiting to check the graphic of sys.
