I ordered a Latitude XT2(in sig) on May 10. As far as I know, there weren't any significant delays with this system (save the 1 day for the processor).
The preliminary delivery date is June 5th! Does this seem right? Or should I expect it earlier than that? (I was hoping next week, by May 22)
It's still "In Production" after 5 days.

That really depends on what their parts supplies look like. I ordered a Dell XPS M1530 last year about this time, but I ended up canceling because they decided to pass up 2 deadlines that they set and refused any compensation. If this machine isn't in high demand, then I would definitely expect it earlier, but if it is popular and large companies are putting in orders, you might be waiting for a while (maybe even past the deadline that they set, but it is unlikely).

I ordered a Latitude E6400 on 4/22 and my original estimated delivery date kept being pushed back every few days. I emailed Dell customer service and was told the bluetooth device was causing the delay. I was in production for about 2 1/2 weeks but I finally received it. The entire process took 3 weeks (including production, shipping, etc.) from the order date until it arrived at my door. Good luck!
