Okay, I just purchased a Dell Studio 1737 through my EPP and there is only one system for the Studio 1737 that offers Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. When I ordered it and was confirmed via e-mail, it showed I got 64-bit but the link in my e-mail that takes me to my order page on Dell doesn't show 64-bit. My e-mail shows this:
330-1800
420-5769
420-6436
420-8223 1 Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Service Pack 1 64 Bit
420-9100
420-9103
463-2282
Several numbers for a Windows OS. On the Dell order page it shows this code and then the OS:
1 420-9103 Microsoft Windows Vista SP1 Home Premium Edition, English.
So, even though this order hasn't been officially posted to my Dell.com account, but is viewable through a special URL in my e-mail, and only confirmed via e-mail, do you guys think I still got 64-bit?
I mean, when I returned my Studio 1735 with a 32-bit OS, it showed a different number code than what I am now seeing. So do I have 64-bit or 32-bit?
I don't want to really deal with script-bots in India.

Let me let you in on a little secret...
No one here works for Dell (ok maybe someone does?) so we don't really know what Dell part numbers are covering...
With that said... The only way to know will be to get the machine and see, but I'm sure if you ordered 64-Bit it will have 64-Bit. -
If you ordered 64 bit, you will get 64 bit.

let me just say that i ordered 64 bit with my system, got "vista home premium" system and got worried just like you. I ended up with 64 bit, don't worry.

Alright, thanks, that lets the worrying go away.
Ordered 64-bit Studio 1737, but doesn't show it?
