I am on the fence right now between a T60 and a D820. Don't like bugs, and both the T60 and D820's are mature products. The D830 is not an option with an Intel video chip, no matter how much Dell & Intel brag it up. I have heard their propaganda too much over the years.

i am looking to upgrade my D620 to a D630 or D830; and i agree with chevy05 the Intel video card is not acceptable for my standard. so i will just wait a month or two before i place an order.

I had them price me a 820 and the 830 was actually 150 cheaper... not sure how that happened but it was, discounts were like $400 so I guess that's it.

I prefer the Integrated card, I don't game and for office work, general browsing, I don't think it matters that much and the dedicated card causes more heat, power consumption, more fan running.... so i prefer it that way....

They told me my estimated ship date would be June 18th, but most likely would be 10 days earlier but that was what they HAD to say....

    MG

P.S. They told me I could get a 820 with the same options except it would have a dedicated graphics card but it would be $150 more

I'm waiting on the discrete graphics cards, or some benchmarks on the new integrated intel adapter.
