Hello everyone. I've been reading the forums here for some time and it helped me a great deal with picking out a final laptop for this fall when I'm going to college. I finally picked out the E1505 and the 924 printer and used one of the coupons to order this configuration:

    Intel Core Duoprocessor T2500 (2MB/2GHz/667MHz)
    15.4 Inch UltraSharp TrueLife Wide-screen WSXGA+
    2GB, DDR2, 533MHz 2 Dimm
256MB ATI MOBILITY RADEON X1400 HyperMemory
    Dell 924 Printer Driver
100GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive for Inspiron 6400/E1505
Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, English with Media
    8X DVD+/-RW Drive
    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 802.11a/g Mini Card (54Mbps)
Dell Wireless 355 Bluetooth Module (2.0 + EDR)
53 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery
    3 Year Limited Warranty

The final configuration came in at $1325 for the laptop and printer. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the 924 printer and had any thoughts on it. Also, I've read quite a few posts about this Dell Restore utility and I seem to have gotten conflicting reports about whether removing Norton Ghost will render it unusable. Has anyone successfuly removed Norton Ghost and still been able to use the Dell Restore utility? I appreciate any thoughts and help anyone might have.

    Thanks,
    Fiki

Did you place the order already? One quick thing I'd like to point out is that the memory you are getting is only 533 mhz, and in fact it's probably cheaper to just get it with the smallest and cheapest amount of memory possible, and upgrade the memory yourself from a source like newegg.

Ah I'm afraid I already placed the order. By upgrading to the 2GB of memory on the order, I became eligible for the $750 off coupon, which brought the price down below what it would have been with only 30% off.

Well in that case it looks great. Congrats on the order.
