Depends on parts . Not long if all the parts are there , but delays if there is a shortage .
I have waited 3 weeks for my xps 1530 - parts delay-, then it went from phase 2 to 4(delivery) in an afternoon. If you are in the US then there might be more parts available.

    Ha
Mine has finally been dispatched tonight after a 3 week wait . Looks like there original date for EDD was only out by 2-3 days.
I believe if your EDD is going to be over by a couple days they can only give the EDD in 3 weeks blocks , there is every chance it will arrive well before the second EDD like mine.

Bowlerguy92 how is yours performing with games like COD4 and Crysis ??
I also have a load of games I haven't played yet that came out 2006 2007 and don't forget Il2 sturmovik plus the addonns (cant wait)

hmm my last laptop brought (Sep 2003) then sold (2005)in NZ was a HP Pavilion 4:3 sceen Intel centrino platform with Pentium M 2.2 Ghz 512 RAM
with ATI AGP 64 MB plus 80 gig HDD , played COD1 sweeeet , struggled with pacific fighters when that came out in xmas 2004

the thing is it cost me 3000 NZD , this one works out at 1900 NZD plus
10x as powerfull go figure .........

Going by the reviews, the COD4 should be smooth on this laptop. Btw, I ordered the exact smae thing but in RED.
