    I ordered my XPS 2 days ago on the 20th of June in Hong Kong
    Its been delayed to 2 weeks delivery time because i added a TV Tuner card...hmm so my estimated delivery date is 2nd of july :(
    The anticipation is too mch.. Has anyone else had any delivery experience in HK?

    wow, after i wrote that first post i had lunch, and then when i came bak i chked the order status site and it went from work in progress -> manufacturing build complete->ship from factory!! im just 1 hour!! thats mental! :)

    You must have been lucky or bought one that they already had built. Maybe someone else's canceled order was thrown back on the line to become yours.

    Some of the Samsung panels also look excellent. It seems that most people that get an LG screen are extremely happy with it. It's about 50-50 for the people who get Samsung screens.

    ohhhh icic well i just hope that i get a good build on the overall whole laptop then. the xps i ordered only had 2gb ram because itd be cheaper to go out and buy 4gb ram to put in myself for about 100USD (800HKD). i heard that vista takes up 1/2 a GB and stuf..would u recommend that i upgrade to 4GB RAM?

    I think people notice a huge improvement between 2 and 4 GB of RAM. Having that extra memory for your programs makes a pretty big difference.

    well itll be pretty cheap to upgrade it so ill probably go for it thanks! :)
    i hope my xps comes tmr since on the site it says 'ship from factory' which is in china...which is an hour away

    my estimated delivery date was 02-Jul-2008, i just got an email from dell saying its now 25th june :)
