    Ordered a 1501 base model, how long

    :) My wife ordered a 1501, base model.
    It said that ship date is 9/18.
    Are these computers custom made or are they already made for shipping ?

    Tonight on QVC 9/2 they had an hour DELL SELLs
    They were selling the 1501.
    They said that they had 800 to sell. At the end of the hour they said they only had little over 200.

    I know QVC lies too like DELL.
    I think on QVC site they said 7 days to get it.

    I ordered my daughter the standard 1501 (I only upgraded the memory) on July 23rd. It shipped on July 27th and she received it July 30th. Unlike my 1521 I ordered at the same time which JUST shipped a few days ago. The 1501 was here in no time. Her ESD was August 14th too.

    Ordered a 1501 for my dad last month on a Monday, received it that Thursday (even though the EDD was 2 weeks.)
