    i just ordered a 1520 and the ship date was 8/1 has anyone recieved theres before the date they specified

    I ordered the anti-glare screen and i just read that theres a backorder of the high end glossy

    its also got the 256mb gt
    2.0ghz and a couple other mods

    I ordered mine 7/11 and it is supposed to ship 7/25, but my screen is backordered and it looks like the date will be pushed back farther at this point. The dell CSR told me they are just waiting on my screen....

    Hopefully yours will ship out quicker. I have to stick it out as I want the 1680x1050 resolution.

    i just checked the colors may delay the ship date but i ordered it before it said that so am i in the clear?

    I ordered mine on the 15th of July. They first quoted me a delivery date of Aug 13th. Then upped it to approx Aug 15th due to lack of screens. Then July 30th since they received some screens early. Then they shipped it on Saturday (much to my surprise). Should be in town tonight with a delivery tomorrow sometime (I wish Purolater had a GPS!).

    I ordered mine on July 9th. It's supposed to ship August 6th.

    This whole glossy screen backorder is pissing me off...plus the fact that QVC sold thousands of inspirons yesterday.

    What is the deal with that?! I ordered 7/11 and mines supposed to ship 7/25 (although I was told it might be pushed to a later date). I have also heard people having them ordered and shipped within 4-5 days. What gives?!

    i ordered it the 19ths and it said the 1st now it says it will be delivered the 7th anyone think ill get it sooner
