    This will be my second e1505. First one i'm giving to my sister.

    Here are the specs!

    Intel Core 2 Duo - 1.83 GHz
    Windows Home
    XGA screen w/ Truelife
    1 GB Ram
    x1400
    120 GB Harddrive
    Intel Wireless Card
    9 Cell battery

    Final cost: $1240 CDN

    Plus, they threw in a backpack! :)

    Estimated shipping date: October 9th

    October 9th is Thanksgiving. What are the chances I'll get it prior to thanksgiving? I can't remember how fast my other dell shipped.

    Odds are you will get it 7-10 days, maybe less--you're lucky cuz you ordered at the beginning of the week, so probably it won't get stuck somewhere on the weekend.

    Not sure if shipping to Canada make a big difference, but I ordered a custom (not outlet) E1505 this past Thursday at around noon and it is being delivered tomorrow! And that's with UPS ground! (Living in Nashville probably helps... ;) ) Original delivery guesstimate was Oct 3rd.

    wow thats a fast delivery time. In canada, they use purolator to deliever dell products. so hopefully it'll get here as fast as yours did! :)

    Don't be sucked into the mentality of thinking that dell is always quick about things. I'm still waiting on mine (i'm in canada), and its almost been a month now. I'm very disappointed.

    rly??? thats too bad, i think you got unlucky cause mine got delivered in week and a half, but thats because it was over a long weekend, otherwise it would be within a week

    i live in NB (canada) and i ordered it the 20th of sept and there saying its only gonna come the 12th of oct. wich kinda sucks
