I ordered a Alienware M17x on the 8th of this month, and today it was shipped.
Thats 5 days! I wasn't expecting this early.
Only had 1 problem and that was that when I ordered from the EPP site, there was a promotion to get the Mini 10v for $99 dollars. Unfortunately, there was no way to order it, and I never recieved a confirmation (wasn't sure if it was supposed to be, but nontheless it showed up when you went to the EPP page, so thankfully I did a screen shot of the promotion)
Sent an email to customer service, got a generic message saying to call, I did and got a CSR that really didn't help much, he never replied back, and it seems the only way I got him to respond was to email his manager (he included her email in his replies). I've got to say, that by contacting her, she had me taken care of in 1 day! People say alot of bad things about the service they get from Dell's CSR, but I have to admit that she went well beyond taking care of me.
I've had laptops from Asus, Gateway, Compaq and I must admit that Dell is the probably the most easiest to deal with.
My Alienware will be here on Monday and my Mini 10v will be not long to follow!

I had the same experience so far. I just recently ordered my M15x on past Friday and the representative I spoke with today said that it has been finished in the building process and testing. Now it's being moved to the dispatch to be sent out.
I have to say...Kudos to Dell so far. Support and quick shipping has been fantastic. I will confirm that they had been this great as soon as I see "shipped".
