Well, I just placed the order. Dell E1405 expected ship date: May 18, 2006. I'm quite excited. I didn't intend for the Dell 30 day on call thing and I had to call the guy up to remove that from my invoice because I didn't want to pay for that. I'll let you all know when I get it. Can't wait!

Im actually saving up money to get the E1405, or the 640M, whichever side of dell has a better deal at the time, im about halfway there, i should have the money for it by next paycheck or so, and when my compUSA rebate comes in

 

OnreyJ just wondering where did you find the 35% off coupon. I am still not really familiar with dell coupons and in the coupon list I cannot see the 35% off one.

 

i jumped into this deal too. i got it with 512 mb ram. seems like today they are giving 1 gb ram for free. i want to add additional 1 gb memory and was wondering if anyone knows where i can get it for cheaper price.

I picked up the 35% coupon from a direct deal email dell sent to me. It expired 5/3/06 and was for 35% off any non xps inspiron above 999. Looks like the only ones out right now are 650,500, or 450 off. Also looks like they have a few instant off deals as well

 

I just ordered mine, I'm going to sell the 1gb of ram on ebay for 80-100 and spend 180 on 2gb 667 memory instead of waste my money on the 533. Cant wait!
