    I know I probably got ripped off on system memory...but I just wanted this done and as somthing I wont have to fiddle with - that aside I'm curious about the 8600M GT. Dell doesn't specify if it's the DDR2 or DDR3 memory. I tried to google the part number and had no luck. Most reviews I found on the laptop say it's DDR3, but some reviews on the card it self says Dell uses a cheaper DDR2 card. I hope I got the DDR3..thats what is used in the 1530 right? :confused:

    The 8600M GT in the XPS M1530 does indeed have DDR3 memory.

    YES! I feel so much better.... I can sleep now.. and my girlfriend can stop scowling at me from typing up a storm on her laptop while she is trying to sleep. :eek:
