Well I bit the bullet and finally decided on what notebook I want. I have been looking at lots of notebooks for the last few months trying to find the correct notebook for me. For the looks and specs of this Dell I couldn't pass it up.
Dell is having a Clearance thing on the Dell Inspiron 1564 because of the new Dell 15R.
I couldn't pass up the deal.
This is what I ordered.
Well I bought a Dell Inspiron 1564.
Specs:
15.6" display
Intel i3
4gb RAM
500gb HDD
Black in color
9 cell battery
Clearance for $549 + free shipping + 10% bing cash back = So around $500.
Not bad IMO.

I really like how the style of the notebook is very similar to the Dell Studio.
The 1564 looks like it is built better then the 15R also.
I want to buy a clear skin protector to cover the whole notebook.
As far as I can find is that Ghost Armor has one for $39.99.

I do prefer invisibleSHIELDS by Zagg but they dont have one for a Dell 1564.
I emailed them to see if they can make one.
Anyone have any good results with Ghost Armor?
Also does anyone suggest a decent notebook sleeve/bag for this notebook?
I cant wait to get my new notebook!
My status so far says "In Production".

Well I got a hold of Zagg.com and asked if they can make a custom made skin for a Inspiron 1564 but they said they cant.
So I am going to order a Ghost Armor one.
I will post a review about it when I get it. -
I could also go for your choice, but I need a Full HD screen at least
-
lol, is there really that much of a difference in the screen that my notebook I ordered has compared to a Full HD screen?
I am sure it wont matter to me because I don't really play much game or watch much movies.
Mainly going to be a homework/web browsing notebook. -
My order status says it has been shipped!
I cant wait!
It should be here the 7th! -

Full HD not for gaming, its for more work/visible screen area with high quality display.
For gaming lower resolution like yours 1366x768 will do. -

Ordered my new Dell Inspiron 1564 today! :)
