Dell currently has a coupon code that knocks off the price down by 170$, but not on the canadian site.

Is it possible to purchase the dell from the US site and ship it to canada without having to pay duty fees? Or should I just wait for the deal to show up on the Canadian site.

Is there anything else I should know about?

Dell U.S. will not ship outside of the U.S., sorry. :(

Here's a link to the only Dell Canada offers that I know of right now- $100 off $799+ or $50 off systems under $799- LINK

You can ship it to a mailbox in the states and take it across the border in a backpack and conveniently forget to declare it. - Overall, it would become a legal storm for you and it would be unethical to do so.

And another problem is that Dell Canada will not offer you support so you will have to deal with Dell America.

I did the same thing you are planning to do and highly recommend that you pay the extra $170 because it will become one massive headache to deal with Dell America and having to go to the states to ship your laptop out for repairs and receive it back from them in the states since they do not ship across the border under any circumstances.

It just causes a lot of unnecessary greif and headaches. - $170 is just not worth it.

Don't do that, that's my good advice for you. :)
