Hi. I have a few questions about ordering from Dell and was wondering which route you guys took. Do you think it best to order online or over the phone? Would the discounts/coupon codes still apply though? Are there any differences?
I'm also gonna need the OS installation disc but i'm not sure if they provide this without me needing to ask first. A partition doesn't cut it imo. Is the option to include this with my purchase available online during checkout or is it done automatically?
Any info you guys can give me would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.

online discounts can pretty much always be used to order over the telephone; unless they specifically say "online only"; which I don't think happens to often.
I'd always suggest phoning your order through; have something in your basket first and then call through. Sometimes they can offer things that are not available online, and occaisionally you can get better discounts; though this is definitely not guaranteed. -
I got my Studio 1555 today and it came with the OS installation disc.

That's reassuring thanks. Does anyone know of any coupon codes? The one I found online (10%) seems to have expired. I'm thinking of ordering a Studio desktop as well so if there's any for that too it would be great.
How would I go about getting them to offer me a discount over the phone? Doesn't seem like they would just come out and say it. -
