Well, Seeing as the problems with the m1330 dont seem to settle, ive been seeing other laptops as a plan B if this gets too troublesome.

Anyway, the ones ive been checking out are:

    http://www.excaliberpc.com/Asus_V2S-...id-580882.html (Asus V2S for 1749 us)

http://www.excaliberpc.com/Asus_F9S-...id-580883.html (12 incher, 8400 gs, A LOT cheaper which means i could get 4 gigs for it and about the same weight, minus the LED)

http://www.excaliberpc.com/ASUS_F8SV...id-580899.html (and this baby right here, which, excluding the weight, looks pretty awesome)

I was also thinking of the new gateway notebooks coming in early august, the m-series and the other series coming with it aswell.

Also... is the rumour about the m1330 led screen coming with a bad screen true? Cause thats pretty big. For bad screens might as well try my luck with any other laptop.

So what do you think? and what other "plan b"s do my fellow m1330 would-be owners have?

no idea where you heard the rumor...
but I call it BS... how do they know if it's bad or good LCD when 99% of the XPS M1330 owner are still waiting for their notebooks?
So far all the reviews I read about XPS M1330 are good ones.
