Outlet M1330 Question

Hi guys,

I just purchased a M1330 from the outlet and I was just wondering if I picked up one with the led screen. The details state that it has the 13.3 inch WXGA Standard Display, but that it is also fitted with the Integrated .30 Mega Pixel Web Camera.

It is to my understanding that the standard displays come fitted with the 2 megapixel cameras and that the led displays come fitted with the .30 cameras.
Does anyone have a m1330 with a standard display + .3 mp camera?

You probably got the NON led screen. Someone else posted here recently about the same issue. He assumed it was LED due to the .3 webcam listing. He ended up with the standard screen and Dell gave him trouble when he complained. I think he might have gottne it resolved eventually. They screwed up with the .3 listing more likely than they screwed up with the standard display listing.

 

I purchased mine on friday and my recipt sais LCD display 2.0mp webcam - 13.3" Ultrasharp Widescreen WXGA (1280x800) Display with true life (2.0MP webcam)

DO i have the led displays? Ima be soooo super pissed of if i dont.

I asked the guys about the diff screens they had and he said that delll upgraded all machines to the highest priced one because of demand.

 

nope, you have the regular screen.

See to my knowledge the regular screens either have the 2 mp camera or no camera. The LED screens all have the .3 mp camera. I guess i'll just complain when I get the laptop and claim false advertisement if I do end up getting the 2 mp one, hopefully I can get some credit back or something.

 

I just sent an email yesterday claming the sales rep told me that the screen was the "best/most expensive one you can get".

I forgot what the LED display was called, haha. So i just said most expensive lmao

Im pretty sure that after only half a day of ordering or even one day they can change it, seeing as it was my fault

Stupid sales rep LIED TO ME!!!!!!!! Guess when he saw i was spending 1800 his eyes lit up haha.
