So I call to check on extending my warranty and some how I get transfered to Dell Business from a clueless rep and its a nice english speaking lady, but she tells me she needs to transfer me to the home department. Well next thing I know I'm talking to a guy who says his name is Kevin, but there is no way in .... his name is Kevin and I can't understand a word hes saying. Its nice how business customers get better support.

yeah, well i guess you get what you pay for.

however, i'm a home customer and when i had to get a replacement for my first notebook due to 1 dead pixel + 1 stuck pixel, i spoke to a person whose first language was english.

All of the techs that I have talked to have been outsourced. Sometimes you are lucky and get one home base, but for home customers this is a rare event.

Dell has customer service centers set up all over the USA for business users, but for whatever reason, home users are still outsourced.

Dell should at least offer better customer service for Home & Office users. Next to the base warranty they should have "Indian tech support included in price" just so everyone knows what they are getting into in case of a computer issue.
