Alright specs are in the sig and I just installed Crysis again to test out the limits of my 8600. Clocks were set are 550/450. I switched from low to medium (big graphical difference between them) and it played smooth, but when i pushed it a bit more 575/475, it became choppy... why is this? isn't it supposedly to be more FPS? I put it back to 550/450 and after a fresh reboot it played smooth again.

Another question, How important are the temperatures? what's the ideal temp for over clocking these? does the temperatures downgrade any performance?

What is the ideal temperature the GPU should be at? Plus is there Heat throttle where if it becomes too hot it shuts down?
