    Overclocking on a 1420/1520

    Is there any program to Oc the CPU of a 1420/1520 dell notebook????

    I wouldn't overclock it, it will run hotter and louder, but if you still want to-- go into your BIOS and overclock it there.

    There is no possibility to overclock a notebook's cpu in the BIOS - lol -

    And why not overclock it if it's possible?

    Of course there is no opcion inside bios to oc the cpu.

    My cpu is a T300 2.0ghz, so I dont think that it will run hotter that a 1420 with a T7500 2.2GHz. The fan and the laptop case are the same in both configuration, so a T300 overclocked to T500 is perfectly capable to run safe in my notebook.

    There's probably some software CPU overclock applications out there, i've used a few on my desktop.. I don't like the idea of doing it via software versus the bios though. I wouldn't suggest it though on any notebook, you should have spent the extra money and bought a T7500 is that's what you wanted.
