I want to try and use CpuCool on my Inspiron laptop to modify FSB and/or multiplier, but I need to get the PPL type. However the laptop has proved hard top take apart to find out.

Anyone now this data? I note that alnother thread knew the same for an Ispiron 1520, so I guess it can be found.

    My Dell PC is:
    Inspiron 1545 Celeron 585 2.16Ghz has 2meg, 667MHz ram on FSB 667

    Model: 0G848F
    Chipset: GM45/GM47
    Rev: 07
    Southbridge: 82801M (ICH9-M)

    Anybody know?

    Thanks in advance

Even if you manage to get this to work, you won't be able to modify your multiplier. With Intel, only the Extreme Edition processors have unlocked multipliers.

Good luck with overclocking your FSB, though.
