    PLZ help me (noise sound) !!

    Hello for all,..

    I have a new laptop dell inspiron 1520, after installing windows xp, when i do any
    process (opening a program,surfing net,..) i hear a noisy sound that comes from the HDD (i knew that the sound comes from the HDD because when i stop doing any process the sound disappeared), and when restarting any application the sound appears again !!

    What i can do to stop this sound from appearing again or this sound is common for all the laptops (i don't think that)?

    Yes that because info is being read from the hdd...is it really loud? if so, there might be a possible hdd failure heading your way...but if its not loud, then the noise pretty standard for any computer :D

    No it's not loud but i can hear it when i am working on my laptop, so is it normal ?
