    Hi everybody,
I'm a new poster but I've been watching this forum since I made the decision to purchase the Dell M1530 back in December. Thanks for all the great info!

Anyway, I'm trying to attach a PS/2 external keyboard to the laptop via a PS/2 --> USB adapter. The keyboard is not being recognized by the computer, though. When I first plug it in, the caps/num/scroll lock light up briefly but then it won't respond to anything after that. What gives?

I have the same problem in windows vista. Vista just identifies it as an unidentifiable USB device.

I don't even get as far as that. There's no indication that Windows is even recognizing ANY USB device connected.

Sorry to bump this, but I'm still not able to get my PS/2 keyboard to be recognized by my 1530 running Vista.

Me either. My adapter works but Windows Vista can't detech it.
