I reinstalled Vista on my m1530, so far it's working great! But I accidentally installed a parallel port driver on here when reinstalling the drivers (m1530 doesn't have a parallel port) and I can't figure where the driver is located or how to uninstall it. This may end up to be rather simple, but can anyone please help me uninstall the driver since it's causing errors in my system log?

Same problem here. I just had to reinstall Vista on my M1530. Everything seems to work except that every boot gives me an error message in Event Viewer that says "parallel port driver service failed to start." I found a post on the web for a registry edit that stopped the error message, but the fingerprint reader failed to be recognized on reboot. Does the fingerprint reader use a parallel port to communicate with the system?
