    Hi to all!

I have a Inpiron 6000and I would like to partition my C: in order to keep my files in the partition and make a restore when I need it without loose my files or do a backup.

That is, store my files in the "D", restore my Win from the DSR to the C, then, continue working with the files in the "D" :smileyhappy:

    Is that possible???

    Thanks!

You could use a software like Partition magic to do the partition

i recall reading somewhere that if the C:\ partition is altered you might not be able to use the one button restore anymore. but I also read about repairing the MBR (which changes with altering partitions i guess) so maybe you can repartition and repair the MBR. try googling this site. cant remember where i read that.
