Purchased an outlet (refurb) E6510 that ended up didn't work correctly so I called in to arrange an exchange. Status has been unchanged up until this morning when it's now "PARTS ORDERED" with just the base and DVD drive showing under details (so far). Does this mean they're putting together a whole "new" laptop? Would've figured they'd have grabbed the leftover one on the outlet that was close to mine (albeit a little better) and sent me that.

EDIT: just saw there's a unit "in production" under the order status page...they are sending a better one (yikes!). They're not going to try charging me the difference between what I paid for the first one and that one (over $1000 difference)?
