See my last post on the specs

So my ESD was yesterday. I called in (waited on hold for 20min) and asked the status of the order. They said it will be shipped out later in the week. When i check my online order status it still says Sept 3 shipping... but its in the production stage now (Been in production for 4 weeks)....

I should ask for compensation....What is stopping me from canceling my order and buying a machine from BB or FS?...nothing..

Anyone had any luck with some compensation from Dell Canada?

dont think dell is too easy with compensation, your best option is probably going mental on em over the phone and make them give you free stuff!

actually no, but if you compare your question to a lot of material and information on this forum about dell i give you little chance of them being that lenient

It is possible to get compensation for delays. I got a 100 dollar coupon because two systems I had ordered were delayed. I basically just said I was fed up with waiting and asked them to compensate me...

My dealings are solely with Dell Canada. They have been good, too good according to Dell.

Call CSRs during business hours and speak to the closest.

I would contact them and bring to their attention this has been a long process and ask how they can help...

Suggest that as they went over their own timeline a throwback of a couple hundred may be in order...

from canada here too. i easily got compensation (only delayed for one week) after i called. dont bother chatting to them online just talk to them and say delaying it so much is just too far and you want compensation. that's what i did and the lady easily accepted and offered more warranty.
