    Hi everyone,
I have encountered a problem on Dell Latitude D830. It has fingerprint feature and when it boots it asks for a password, i don't know it is because of fingerprint or something else.
Does anyone know about this problem and waht should I do?

Beside i'm looking for a Bios chip on the mainboard of notebook. What kind of chip is it?

You can use your fingerprint or you can use the password.

Once you logon with a password to change the fingerprint if you are the owner/administrator of the laptop.

I’m sorry we can’t help with password cracks or hacking
It’s forbidden on the forum :(

Then have the customer use his finger to log in, then remove/change the password

The customer will need to call up Dell Support to verify ownership of the notebook. Im afraid NBR cannot help you bypass any security measure.
