I want to do a clean install on a Inspiron 1520. I have the original operating system from dell. The Inspiron currently has both xp and Vista-I want just vista reinstalled. Can someone provide me with detailed instructions. Simple and in depth please.

    Good informative title :)

If you have all the data you need then just blow away both current partitions and repartition and install Vista.
