    Hi All,
Newbie here. Don't mean to post something that may already be known but I did a search and didn't find any threads on this. I'd been waiting to place my order for a Dell XPS M1330, holding off in the mild hopes that white would return. Alpine White did return in the US, but the dell.ca didn't reflect this change and the CSR's were as clueless as I was.

On Nov. 1st then, much to my delight, white did return to the order form for the M1330. But not Alpine White, Pearl White! I don't know if this is a typo or what, but I pulled the trigger.

If you don't believe me, below's a screen grab of my spec's. Also, check this out: http://configure.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=ca&CS=cadhs1&l=en&OC=N13302V_F_1E

Anyone else notice this? Anyone want to place a bet whether I actually receive Pearl White or if it's just mis-named Alpine White? My build date was supposed to be Friday Nov 2nd.

Right, but do you think that's a mistake or do Canada and the US get different whites? Seems weird to me...

They may have had extra...not a clue. The diff is glossy for Pearl and non glossy for arctic white.

The difference is between a flat enamel white color (like the Inspiron) and a white with a pearlescent texture.

The M1330 has never had that colour and the new colour they were going to introduce was the Alpine white which...if i recall is flat white. The colour described is the same as originally described in Jul/Aug I believe....mind you who knows until they actually have one in their hot little hands.
