According to Engadget ( http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/06/dells-xps-m1330-goes-penryn-as-a-free-upgrade/), the penryn T9500 is now a free upgrade for at least one configuration on the Dell Australia website. Engadget speculates that a similar pricing strategy may migrate to North America.

Depending upon How It Is, we'll celebrate Happy Days when The Unnamable arrives. Probably on The Last Sunday In June.

I phoned dell in Poland, which obtains m1330 and m1530 from ireland and they said that Penryn was supposed to be in the mid of February but due to delays in intel it will be here not earlier than mid March. So I guess in UK this deadline is almost the same, so f*** intel :]
Either dell gives good deals for the outdated T7500or let's switch to HP or sony

Especially when their competitors are already eating into their own margins in order to sell their Penryn PC's. -
Well it's a free upgrade on a $2000+ configuration.. so... We are still way better off even when currencies are converted...
