Doea anyone know of a good place to read about the performance differences between the Penryn T9300 2.5Ghz and Montevina T9400 2.53GHz processors?

well they are both Penryn processors, one with a 800mhz fsb and the other with a 1066mhz fsb. Montevina is the platform (chipset...). Are you looking for specific benchmark difference between the two processors?

The T9500 is not Montevina, but the P9500 is. Yes, the Latitude E-series uses the Montevina platform.

@OP: The difference between the T9300 and T9400 shouldn't be much at all, although the faster FSB will give the T9400 a little bit of an edge.
